Society of St Luke
Sheringham
Acknowleged Community of
the Church of England
Registered Charity: 1107317
The Headquarters of the Society of St Luke is in
Sheringham on the Norfolk Coast. The house is a
ten minute walk from the Sea and Town
Centre. The town is served by trains and buses from
Norwich and whilst they are both within walking
distance we would be happy to pick you up by
car.
The house has three Bedrooms, on the ground floor,
a Chapel, a Sitting Room, and Dining Room. The
Chapel is the centre of the house where the three
Offices are said daily as well as a Eucharist.
The Society runs regular Quiet Mornings accommodating up to eight people. The mornings normally focus around a Eucharist with two talks being given and a period of silence. A cooked lunch is provided as well as coffee on arrival. Twice a year we run non-residential three day retreats. There are plenty of opportunities for walking or just sitting and enjoying the south facing aspect of the house.
The society also runs a Craft Group meeting once a month on a Monday morning, starting with a Eucharist and finishing with a lunch.
The stained glass window of St Luke was produced by Hilary Davies a member of the society.
